Simply stunning playing by Suffolk Sinfonia at the Apex Theatre, Bury St Edmunds

Well done everyone, and thank you for inviting me to be your guest conductor in your summer concert at the Apex Theatre.

This was a night to remember with dancing woodwind and brass in the Prince Igor Overture, luscious orchestral playing in the Adagio from Spartacus, scintillating strings and percussion in Capriccio Italien and such musically convincing playing in Borodin’s Second Symphony.

I loved working with you all; congratulations on a wonderful performance.
