As introduced in my blog on 14 February Orchestra of Square Chapel have now completed the recording project and present their version of "La Caccia" - the finale of this amazingly vibrant symphony.

Having rehearsed with conductor Rob Guy, and instead of not giving their usual March concert, the orchestra has created a short video presentation of the wonderful Symphony in D, “La Chasse” by Paul Wranitzky. What an extraordinary achievement, professionally executed, and enjoyably entertaining. Congratulations and well done to everyone involved. Mary Barber, the orchestra’s leader wrote: "Orchestra of Square Chapel really enjoyed getting to know this little - known symphony by Paul Wranitzky who was a contemporary of Beethoven. I do hope we can perform it live soon. Here is an extract from the last movement."
